After just returning from the Porsche Club of America Parade in Canada I wanted to share with you our good news and excitement.

This particular Concours is considered to be the most competitive event in car shows in North America. The Porsche Club of America is the largest single marque club in the world.

My wife Bonnie and I were very excited to have won first place overall with our 1958 Porsche 356A. This forty-year old car was brought back to showroom condition with many of your products.

The paint is 100% original but, of course, oxidized significantly over the years and by using your Carnuba cleaning wax I was able to hand polish the finish back to showroom condition. I am the Manager of Marketing & Merchandising for a Chicago based IndyCar Team, Player’s/Forsythe Racing Team Ltd.

A car enthusiast, I own a 1973 DeTomaso Pantera, an Italian, exotic sportscar.  The car is equipped with the original Campanalo, magnesium wheels, oxidized, grey and pitted.  I’ve tried everything under the sun; foams, treated wadding, acids, polishes and just plain elbow grease.  Unfortunately, when I ask other car buffs which was the best, they all agreed “ MAAS ”.  On numerous trips to stores, I searched for MAAS and only found “Mother’s”.  Thinking I misunderstood, MAAS for Mother’s it was just like all the others.

We are very happy with your aluminum polish, that you recommended to clean our aluminum on our drag racing car.

There is a lot of aluminum on our car and we tried just about everything that’s on the market and MAAS beats them all.  The sealant also seals the surface from finger prints.  It’s just what we were looking for, it’s cuts down on the extra work of re-polishing.  Now we can use the extra time to do other thing on the race car that are needed to be done.

I would like to know?  If I could buy your polish and sealant at a wholesale price? I would sell it at the track to my fellow racer’s.  Please advise as to what the conditions are to buying at a wholesale price.

I have enclosed a couple of pictures of my motorcycle.  It is a 1972 Norton Commando Roadster.  It was rebuilt in 1976 as a show bike.  It was shown at lots of custom car and bike shows winning first place, in class awards, every time!  The bike was placed in storage in 1979.  I removed it from storage in 1997 and began a detailed cleanup process.  Even though it had been indoors all those years it was covered with a tough film of dirt and bug deposits.  I tried several products to clean it up all with no success, until I tried your metal polish.  It worked great with little effort and returned the 20+ year old chrome back to its original luster.  I have since tried it on other applications such as removing baked on bug from the front of my cars.  It almost instantly dissolves and removes the problem without causing any damage to the clear coat finish.  Impressive stuff!!  Thanks for a great product.

In July of this year, I put a new custom windshield on my 1984 Honda Goldwing.  Just this last weekend my husband and I were entering a campground and the gate attendant let the gate down to soon and it scratched and gouged my new windshield.  The scratch and scuff marks were about 1 ft. long and two inches wide, with one scratch deep enough I could catch my fingernails in it.

Well needless to say the park owners were not the least bit interested in paying for the damage and since it was private property there was nothing I could do.  I had seen your product at the local store and remembered the package said it would restore plexiglass.  Well, I had nothing to lose trying it.  My husband used it on my windshield and it polished out all the scratch and scuff marks.  My windshield looks brand new, with only one small mark that only I see because I know where the deep scratch was.

Last weekend I discovered an amazing product, MAAS Polishing Crème.  Let me explain how much a simple tube of your crème means to me.

Thirty-two years ago, my mother gave me her Dirigold flatware.  It has a simple, beautiful engraved pattern and, since my father had purchased it for her in the early years of their marriage when money was scarce, means a great deal to me.  Over the years I have used the Dirigold as my primary flatware with my fine china.  The biggest challenge has been finding a way to keep its finish acceptable.  I simply could never find a cleaner that did the trick and, believe me, I tried a lot of cleaners.  That is, up until last weekend.

I have used many metal polishes over the past few years, and I would like to let you know that I firmly believe MAAS is the best.  No other even comes close!

I must tell you that this stuff is by FAR the BEST thing I have EVER discovered.  After using a powder polish on my platinum wedding band and taking it to a jeweler (who told me the finish was destroyed), I used MAAS on the ring and amazingly it looks brand NEW.  The jeweler who I brought it to originally could not believe that the ring could be shined again after the “powder product incident” and told me I would have no choice but to have the ring refinished (which would have cost in excess of $200).  However, one 2 oz tube of MAAS and $5.00 later, my ring looks great!!!

Recently I had occasion to use one of your fine products, and I wish to inform you of the results.  A few months ago I inherited a used Model 39 Smith and Wesson handgun, a fairly old model, in nickel finish.  The gun was in fine working condition, but the finish was marred and scratched.  I showed it to a firearms dealer and was told that there was nothing I could do to improve the gun’s appearance, aside from completely refinishing it, which would be quite expensive.

I then called Smith and Wesson, the manufacturer, and was told that refinishing was out of the questions, as the piece was too old and they would not accept liability in case of damage.  The representative also told me that there was no product that would safely remove the scratches.  After trying Brasso and another polish with no success, I was ready to just forget the whole matter.  In short, the results were amazing.  Virtually every scratch was removed and the gun now has a brilliant, clear shine-just perfect!  I showed it to the dealer and he was quite surprised at how the finish was now flawless.  He also informed me that the piece had now nearly doubled in value.

I am so pleased with your product that I now recommend it to my friends.   It has many uses (my wife is now sprucing up her silverware), and the results are just great.  It is worth the price many times over.

I have never written a letter like this before, but I feel I have to say something.  I have a beautiful kitchen with rich cherry cabinets.   However, the one area of concern was the 54 solid brass cabinet knobs.  They were tarnished, scratched, and just looked worn out.   My wife wanted to replace them, but being the home handyman, I decided to clean them.  After using several well-known products on a couple of knobs, I was fairly satisfied with the results and planned to work on all the knobs.  When my wife, the kitchen captain, saw the cleaned knobs, she said that she would just buy new ones, and she did to the tune of $200.00.

Got a tube of the metal polish this morning.  I had been looking for something to clean the gold-tone doors on a shower enclosure and saw the Maas and thought it might remove some residue.   I also had plans to buy two new brass faucets (at over $100.00 each) for my master bathroom this afternoon.  The solid brass ones there were discolored and even though I could get them looking nice for a few days after cleaning, they would soon look dull, green spotted, and cruddy.  I used the Maas on the brass and it looks like new!  It repels water and I feel like it will stay looking bright for some time.  SO…looks like the $200.00 for new faucets will stay in my pocket and I’ll be buying more polishing cream to use all over this house.  I don’t ever send comments on a product I’ve used, but I’ve got to tell you that this stuff is incredible!

Please pass on this tip to your marketing manager.  You’re ignoring a huge potential market for your MAAS Polishing Crème: model railroaders.  There are hundreds of thousands of model railroaders, and all of them have one thing in common: lots of metal track that needs cleaning – often!

Since model trains use the tracks to conduct electricity and the locomotives have only the tiny bottom of their (several) wheels on the track at one time, dirty track means erratic performance, even stopping.

The common product marketed to modelers for cleaning rails is the equivalent of an oldtime ink eraser: it literally grinds off the tops of the rails, dropping grit and eraser dust between the rails.  Afterwards, the newly bare metal seems to oxidize that much faster.

Since I started using MAAS Polishing Crème, my track stays cleaner longer.

Anyway, look for the big distributors in the business and convince them that your crème should be in every hobby shop across the country.

Oh, and if this idea proves profitable for you, I wouldn’t mind a few samples! <grin>

Just wanted to drop you a line to say that I have used MAAS for years.  I learned about MAAS when I was in the US Navy Ceremonial Guard.  It worked great on the brass belt buckle, anchor, heel taps, etc.  It kept up an amazing shined and without any nasty residue.

I have been out of the NAVY for years now, but it proved it’s value so much, I use it to polish the chrome latches, handles, bumpers, engine parts and aluminum trim on my classic 1966 VW Deluxe Bus.  Thanks for a great product.

I play a tenor saxophone that I purchased in 1962 and needless to say the past thirty five years have taken their toll on the instrument.  The original gold lacquer had faded and there was thirty five years of grime from smoke-filled night clubs etc, to put it mildly the instrument looked pretty bad and it is not wise to have musical instruments re-lacquered as it can destroy the instrument’s tone so I was resigned to playing my grungy old saxophone and taking all the ribbing about it’s appearance.

Now there is a better substance to use than elbow grease.  Maas Polishing Crème from Germany is the very thing for such difficult reclamation projects.  It works on all metals: gold, silver, brass, copper, pewter, chrome, stainless steel and aluminum.  It can even be used to remove stains and small scratches from fiberglass, glass, Plexiglas and baked enamel surfaces.

Part of the secret formula is ultra-fine jewelers rouge, which polishes instead of scouring like harsher products do.  Maas Polishing Crème also leaves a protective luster which reduces the need for frequent repeated polishing.

The application is very simple.  Place a small amount of this concentrated product on a soft cotton cloth and wipe it over the surface to be cleaned.  Wait a minute, then use a clean, soft cloth to buff away the crème and produce a shine.  If the item is ornate, use an old toothbrush behind the cloth or use a cotton swab to butt out the crevices.  Remember to move the cloth often so that you are always using a clean section.

Maas Polishing Crème is great for nearly every polishing job.  It will remove stains and oxidation, atmospheric discolorations and scratches.  It will remove tree sap, bugs and tar from your auto, polish the chrome bumper and the plastic taillight lenses, and remove stains from the dashboard.  It removes water stains from bath fixtures and residue from shower doors.  It polishes enamel, ceramic, marble, Formica and Corian.

We tested the product on several items from the property studio.  The first item was old brass vase from India .  Although it was made from low quality brass and was not finely polished when it was made, it cleaned up very nicely with Maas Polishing Crème.  The second item was a spun aluminum tray, probably made in the 1960s.  No crème could remove the spinning marks and the prominent scratches from this tray, but it looked much better afterward.  The third item was an old silver knife which was thoroughly blackened from oxidation.  The results here were astonishing.  After polishing, it looked like new.  The last item was an old copper planter which was dingy and discolored with age.  The crème worked on it as well, producing a “new” clean prop for stage use.

Since all prior tests were so successful, we decided to try the crème on a smear of paint from the side of our new truck.  Someone who parked next to us had banged a car door into the side, leaving an ugly splotch of white paint.  Happily, a small dab of Maas Polishing Crème on a cotton cloth, combined with some gentle rubbing, totally removed the foreign paint and left our truck looking like new.

In summary, we found that Maas Polishing Crème was very effective in cleaning up some of our old metal properties and resurrecting them for stage use.  It is a very worthwhile addition to the cleaners, cleansers and polishes in your prop shop.
